Enjoy the basque experience

Full day tour visiting Biarritz and St. Jean de Luz, where we will enjoy a guided walking tour (both places), and a nice drive along the french cornice down to the border with Spain. Once we cross the border we will visit the medieval old town of Hondarribia, its lively street «marina», where the fishermen used to live and hang out while not fishing and we will head to the Guadalupe Sanctuary on top of Jaizkibel mountain to end up at the fishing village of Pasajes San Juan

Depart to Bilbao for a walking guided tour string from the Guggenheim museum area and head walking, along the river, to the old town of the city. On the way back we will cross the city center of Bilbao with more the 15 buildings part of the 2014 Bilbao World Capital of Design. Possibility of a driving panoramic city tour.

Departing from your hotel, we drive for approximately 2 hours to get to the Rioja wine region to visit a couple of traditional wineries producing the world famous Rioja wine, under the local wine appellation. We will tour the area stopping at the medieval village of Laguardia for a guided tour. We will be able, aswel as to see the magnificent modern architecture of famous wineries like Ysios or Marqués de Riscal.

Get to taste this culinary marvel by the hand of a local expert. Enjoy the tasting of the local drinks while having exclusive “pintxos” in the best bars of the old town of San Sebastian, during a guided tour of the old town of San Sebastian with a professional who will introduce you to the Basque culture, history and gastronomy.
