unique and exciting wildlife photographic safaris

Hi There Over the past 15 years I have been involved with tourism and conservation as a wildlife guide and manager. In 2009 I launched my company Africa Unlocked as a platform for my own specialized photographic safaris throughout Southern and East Africa. I studied nature conservation in Cape Town South Africa and hold guiding qualifications for both Southern and East Africa. My safaris are focussed on photography where we are looking for decisive images for my guests, whether it be rare predators, macro shots or birds. I have lived in South Africa and Kenya and have travelled Southern and East Africa extensively. I never go anywhere without a camera and, combining photography with writing submit articles on a wide range of topics regularly to wildlife magazines and other publications such as Africa Geographic, Africa Birds and Birding as well as the official publication of South African National Parks, the WILD Magazine. A self confessed bird-nut I also enjoy seeking out the local rarities wherever I manage to find myself. I have access to great concessions in Southern Africa and Kenya and arrange anything from a luxury lodging safari to sleeping under the stars while on a walk. That’s it for now I suppose.
