My name is Luis Darin and I was born and raised in Rio. In 2003, after living for 8 years abroad, I've decided to come back to my hometown, and for the past 9 years I've been working full time as a licensed and accredited local tour guide in Rio, showing the city to foreigners on vacation and also providing assistance and ground transportation services to businessmen during their stay in Rio. I'm quite fluent in English, Spanish and Portuguese and have a degree in tourism and an MBA on environmental management. Places that are not so touristy are my specialty. I’m very passionate about Rio and showing places that are off the beaten path is something I like very much. My tours are done on a private basis, tailor made, and performed in a private car.
